How to Order From Sightcare2000

To supply your contact lenses to you, sighcare2000 will need to confirm your Contact Lens Specification with your Optician. We will need from you the Name and Phone number of your optician and the optician must confirm the details you have entered.

If your Optician will not confirm these details, we will not be able to supply contact lenses unless your orginal Contact Lens Specification is sent to us by post. We cannot supply Contact Lenses with a Faxed or Scanned copy of your Contact Lens Specification, it must be the orginal.

If you do not wish us to confirm your details with your opticians please post your Contact Lens Specification at time of order.

How to Order Contact Lenses

  1. Select the product you wish to buy.
  2. Once on the product page of the item you wish to buy fill in the required fields. If buying contact lenses please have your contact lens specification supplied by your optician, or alternatively your contact lens packets.
  3. For contact lenses enter the correct contact lens details as specified from your contact lens specification (this is different to your spectacle prescription) or stamped on your contact lens packets or vials. This will detail the fitting and power requirements to ensure correct lenses as supplied.

  • Base Curve - This is the radius of the contact lens, which is shaped to align the cornea.
  • Diameter - This is the diameter of the contact lens.(standard on many lenses)
  • Power
    • Sph - Determines amount of long or short sight and will be present on all prescriptions.
    • Cyl - Will only be present if you have toric lenses (i.e if you have astigmatism).
    • Axis-Will only be present if you have toric lenses (i.e if you have astigmatism).
    • Add - This will be present if you have been fitted certain bifocal/varifocal contact lenses.

  1. Click the "Add this Item to Your Basket" button, and confirm that the product details are correct and fill in the required information from the drop down boxes.
  2. If you select "Add to Basket and Continue Shopping" the item you wish to purchase will be added to a shopping basket and you can then add more items as needed, or you can go straight to the checkout buying only the wanted item by clicking the "Add to Basket and Continue Shopping".
  3. Confirm that the item/s you want are correct and fill in the invoice address and contact information as needed. Select the type of postage you would like, where free delivery is stated the price will be removed from the final total.
    Standard Delivery will generally take 5 days, but may take longer.
  4. Click confirm, at this point we will ask for the name and phone number of the optician who has prescibed your contact lenses and who can confirm the specifications that you have enterd.
  5. You will now be taken to the Netbanks secure online transaction system. Enter the details requested.

Delivery within UK Mainland is FREE on orders over £35.00 otherwise a charge of £3.95 is made.
