MiraFlow Daily Contact Lens Cleaner

Description

A preservative free, aqueous solution containing poloxamer 40715%, lauroam phodiacetate 10% and isopropyl alcohol 20% sterilized by aseptic processing techniques.

How it works

MIRAFLOW loosens and removes accumulations of film, deposits and debris from your lenses. Lenses should be cleaned with MIRAFLOW each time they are removed for disinfection. Cleaning is not a substitute for disinfection. MIRAFLOW may be used with either heat or chemical disinfection systems. Disinfect your lenses each time you remove them.

Directions for use

  • Always wash your hands and dry them with a clean towel before handling lenses.
  • Always start with the same eye to avoid confusion.
  • To clean lenses, place lens in palm of hand, apply 1-2 drops of MiraFlow to each lens surface.
  • Gently rub lens surface with finger of other hand for 20-30 seconds.
  • After cleaning, rinse lenses in a steady stream of sterile saline such as CIBA Vision Saline and disinfect as directed by your eye-care practitioner.

Contraindications

Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.

Precautions

  • Once bottle is opened, discard any remaining solution after 3 months.
  • Do not use after expiry date
  • Consult your eye-care practitioner before changing solutions.
  • Close bottle after use, store below 25°C.
  • Never touch the dropper tip of the bottle to any surface, since this may contaminate the solution

Warnings

  • DO NOT ALLOW MIRAFLOW TO COME INTO DIRECT CONTACT WITH THE EYE. If this occurs, rinse the eye thoroughly with water. If a lens is in the eye, remove it, rinse with sterile saline and disinfect before re-insertion.
  • DO NOT SOAK YOUR LENSES IN MIRAFLOW.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Consult your eye-care practitioner before using any eye medication with contact lenses.

Adverse Reactions

  • If you experience persistent discomfort or irritation remove your lenses, stop using the product and consult your eye-care practitioner.
